Extended Day FAQs

Tuition & Fees

Beginning in Fall 2025, we will offer both a full-year Extended Day program (12 months) and school year-only Extended Day program. Our Core Morning program will continue to be an option for TSNS families as well. Please see our 2025-2026 Tuition Rates for detailed information about Extended Day tuition.

Tuition covers programming from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding school break periods (Winter Break, Spring Break), Federal holidays, Jewish holidays, Professional Development Days (three per year), and two weeks of Faculty Orientation in August.

Temple Sinai is also offering the Early Birds morning drop off program (8:15-9:00 am daily) at no additional cost to families enrolled in the TSNS Extended Day program.

Limited financial assistance may be available based on special circumstances.

Program Schedule & Operations

Yes, the program will be offered as both a school year-only program and a full year program, with closures on school breaks, Federal holidays, Jewish holidays, and during Faculty Orientation.

Extended Day children participating in our year-round program are automatically enrolled in all the fun of Adventure Camp! Year-round Extended participants will attend Adventure Camp programming until lunch, and will then enjoy lunch, rest, and afternoon activities with their Extended Day cohort. Programming for the year-round Extended Day program ends the last two weeks of August, as the faculty returns for School Year Orientation.

The school year-only Extended Day program ends on the last day of school (typically the first week in June). Children participating in the school year-only Extended Day program are then welcome to sign up for all or some of our seven weeks of Adventure Camp.

This period of relaxation and quiet will be supported by our Extended Day faculty members. Quiet activities to be used on their cots such as reading, puzzles, and manipulatives will be provided for children who do not nap.
